Aug 22, 2017 Menards review with 25 Comments: I bought a sliding compound miter saw from Menards several months ago, primarily because of their promised 11% rebate. I timely mailed in everything they required but never received the rebate. I do Menards rebates all the time and have for several years. If a rebate hasn't come to me, they are very good at letting me provide the info and following up. ALWAYS have photocopies of the rebates you send in. Follow up again with the store or the rebate center and ask them for a signature of who signed the check.

Sent in a Rebate in April. Have not received it. Went online with Rebates International to 'track'. The only information I received was:
My name and address...Their date 05/02/2018 Rebate #3078 Description Save 11% Amount $50.80 Status Issued Check #0000003709...Gave NO REBATE 16(?) digit rebate number to enter to track my rebate. HAVE RECEIVED NO REBATE. Get the runaround at the store. .Within 3 miles of Menards there is a Lowes and a Home Depot. I went to Menards because of the rebate. NEVER AGAIN. $50 may not be big money to some but it is to me. The only reason I gave them 1 star is I am willing to bet that the review would be NOT posted. OH and another thing...Tomorrow, I will call the Store Manager and the next call is to our local BBB. LH

I submitted a rebate request, mailed to the rebate center on 6/25/18. The submission was four receipts and submitted with a completed Rebate #3948 Receipt. The four amounts were: $.48; $1.40; $2.84, and; $4.89. You paid for three of the four rebate requests ($.48; $2.84, and; $2.84). The fourth rebate request was taped together by a woman at customer service at the Menards store on University Avenue in St. Paul, MN. The printer at the checkout had jammed and, when the cashier pulled on the receipt, it tore. When the customer service person taped the two sections together, the taped 'erased' the bar code. Customer service said it was fine and I submitted it to you. The purchase date of the torn receipt was $6/17/18. I had submitted several rebates for different items and I have three receipts for drywall. I only received one my drywall rebate and several of the other rebates the ones for real small amounts of money like one or two dollars. But the drywall rebates were for $28 - $30 dollars never received them bank. I hate shopping at Menards for this very reason you very seldom get your rebates back especially for the larger amount of money.

We sent in a rebate adjustment in March and have not received anything yet. When we go online for tracking there is nothing that shows up. For the regular rebate we got a rebate quickly. Because we don't have a receipt for this rebate adjustment I don't have the tracking number and when trying to contact the company it's asking for the tracking number in order to submit a question. The rebate adjustment is 3000.

In 2016 and 2017 I mailed in a rebate form and I have not received my rebate coupon for purchases at Menard's stores. I mailed one rebate form today and hope I have better luck. I would like you to track my past 2 or 3 rebates that have not been sent to me. I'm feeling a bit conned and feel that perhaps you can add extra rebate monies for my inconveniences. Menards, I have sent all the inf. from this store for a product I purchased in October which had a rebate, after sending the required inf. three times and sending emails that I was told to send I still have not heard from them at all. It is a $100.00 rebate from a wood stove. This is very disappointing to me as I do all my shopping at this store spring, summer and winter, other rebates have been sent to me as specified.
Please look into this asap. Very disappointed customer.

Back in July I spent almost $2500 at Menards in Owensboro Ky was to get back $252 and some change back I have sent email mailed them and Menards letters and Rebate international sent an email stating the check was not cashed of course it wasn't cashed I never got it they said they would issue another one guess what still haven't got it. I'm calling the Revdex.com and everyone that might can help this is b[redacted] I'll take my business else where's can't trust them to do what right by the customer.

I have submitted rebate requests 3 times. After 2 months when I check the status it says checks were sent. I finally received the first one but have not gotten the last 2.
This reeks of REBATE SCAM. We all need to contact the Attorney General's office & the FTC & file complaints. I believe Menards set this 'rebate' company up.

Lets file a lawsuit against the Menards rebate center all of us join together , and make them pay our rebates as promised. I waited for 4 months never got mine was for $70.00. This is 2018 and the rebate center should be smart enough to send rebate checks in a envelope, and not a post card. and now all I hear is a mail carrier must have stolen them. Menards is a big Joke. Why have a rebate if they are not going to make sure their customer gets it. The rebate when being used at Menards by a customer should have a Valid ID proving they are the customer on the rebate, which would make the rebate of no value to anybody who steels it and has no ID matching the name on the rebate. This is the second time that I have been Con-ed by Rebates International and Menards,The first time that I was lied to was when I purchased a gallon of Menards full strength antifreeze,It promise it,s costumers who bought the antifreeze an $4.00 in store rebate ,I never received a damn dime of it,And now,this second most recent time of November 2017,I bought a sixty-pack of Powercell Alkaline (3,A) Batteries that regularly cost $12.99,but Menards had the batteries on sale for $10.99,I paid the ($10.99 ) sale price at the Salina Ks. store,and later that same night,I ask the clerk at the costumer service desk about the advertised ($ 5.00 ) in store rebate and I showed her my receipt and what I got back was the receipt and the rebate slip to fill out and send in to Rebates International Inc,And what they sent back to me right after Christmas,has assuredly destroyed any and all expectation in believing that the Menards rebate system is earnest,in the least bit or cares even the slightest about it,s costumers,like myself and others whom has been Hood Winked into a False rebate establishment,Oh,let me be perfectly earnest about my complaint,The Rebate International of Elk Mound P.O.Box,99,Wi.Zip code 54739 sent me the (11%) amount of 0.41 Cents that was,nt even enough to cover the price of the stamp used to mail the envelope that I mail it in to Elk Mound Wi,at the least,Strooge would have sent me an late Christmas Cheers Card alone with the meesely 0.41 cents.Ouch.signed Ret.Specialist National Guardsmen,DaveW.Mathews.01-08-2018*

I have been waiting on rebates since July and have not received the four that are showing paid to me. I am very unhappy with Menards and the rebate process. I have always received them in the past and am not sure what the issue is but this process needs fixed ASAP. We count on these rebates as a loyal customer to Menards. Thank you for your response of 12/26/17 on program #0933 Cotton Nail Apron. You gave me a check number but did not indicate if that check was ever used. When I send in a rebate I make a copy of the register receipt and certificate form. When I receive a check I mark it paid and then it is destroyed. There was one time, in the past, that I didn't receive a rebate and was replaced since it was not used. I am asking that the check #6157828005 be looked up and advise if and when it was used. Seems like small rebates are processed - no problem - larger rebates Menard's rebate center has problem issuing the payments to customers. @ $42.99

We have been waiting for this so we can get what we need to continue working on a remodel from a flood. I am so tired of getting automated responses and there isn't any way to speak to anyone. Your Customer service in no way lives up to your written claim. Send me the rebates in a proper mailing envelop that has clarity immediately! I am beginning to wonder if this is all a big scam...someone is really profiting. All the complaints also makes me wonder if Menards knows what is happening to their customers. Fix my problem!

My two largest rebates for the summer were for $61.72 and $38.48 and of course these are the ones that I have not received ANY response from. Where do you go to get help or file complaints against Menards for this?
